How We Can Work Together:
Uncovering Core Beliefs: We will explore your past experiences that have contributed to unhelpful core beliefs you have developed about yourself. Through building awareness of those beliefs and the experiences that helped shape them, we can process those experiences, look at those beliefs through a new lens, and challenge their validity.
Challenging Negative Thought Patterns: Most of us have an inner voice that chatters to us throughout the day. When that voice is constantly criticizing and second-guessing you, your reality becomes colored by that negativity. We will work to identify and challenge that negative self-talk, build awareness of how it affects you and your perception of yourself, and strengthen more self-compassionate and affirming thoughts.
Building Self-Compassion: With a sense of low self-worth often comes a lack of self-compassion. When we are constantly criticizing ourselves and judging ourselves harshly, there is no room for learning and growth. We will develop self-compassion by learning to treat yourself with kindness and respect.
Self-Care and Boundaries: Self-care and healthy boundaries sometimes feel unattainable when you are suffering from low self-esteem. We’ll work together to develop healthy daily habits and routines that prioritize your well-being. You’ll develop tools to practice setting boundaries with others in order to prioritize your needs and emotional health.

What You Can Expect:
In therapy sessions, you will explore your self-doubt with curiosity and openness.
We’ll explore where negative beliefs stem from to help you lessen their weight. You’ll find confidence in who you are through practicing self-compassion and self-care. Together we will cultivate a mindset that will help you to accept and celebrate your uniqueness, embrace your imperfections, and build a foundation of self-acceptance and respect.
This process, along with our working relationship, will be customized to your individual needs.
As we move forward, we will build trust and get to know each other at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we will explore the ways in which self-doubt manifests in your life and identify areas where your self-esteem may have been affected. We will focus on cultivating a positive and healthy inner dialogue that fosters confidence and empowerment.
Each session will be 50 minutes. I recommend meeting weekly for at least the first 8 weeks to maintain momentum, build our therapeutic relationship, and work on your treatment goals.
